November

Sagittarius – The Archer

I have finished all the monthly zodiac illustrations now and assembled them into files for my lovely printer Zoe at Newtons. The front cover is dedicated to the memory of our friend Chris Molyneux who passed in August. Following triple checks the files went to Zoe and I collected the calendars and posted them out this week. All the UK ones were delivered the next day or day after except to my friend Anne in Leigh on Sea, still waiting to see if I need to resend!

We Will Remember Them

I have been very busy in the studio this month getting prints and cards ready to take to Shawbriggs, also, I am pleased to say I was asked to deliver prints and cards to the Ropewalk for their Christmas Market and Gift Shop. I was delighted with this. Tina, my framer has been a bit busy!

There is a selection of hand painted/original print cards at both Shawbriggs and the Ropewalk.

Entries for the 2022 Ferens Open came around quickly, due to the whole exhibition of 2021 being so late finishing because of the pandemic. I made three entries – fingers crossed, it is always so nerve-wracking.

My Favourite Field – Stacks Peep Through
Safe Journey – Safe Return

We are experiencing ‘Storm Alana’ at the moment – we had a smattering of snow, wild winds and rain. Much of the North East is suffering badly.

Rattling towards Christmas – I light my first candle in my Advent Wreath on Sunday.
